I am an HR Professional from Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Recently I was part of a program called Remote Year, living and working abroad. I am excited to explore more countries in the near future.

Currently, I hold the position of Head of HR and Culture at a local telecommunications company and I am responsible for the overall strategy and operations of human resources and company culture initiatives.

My role is to live and breathe our company purpose, mantra and values, while creating a plan for educating and engraining those values into Fibernetics, along with identifying and implementing strategies and processes to help bind human resources and company culture together within Fibernetics. The passion I have for Fibernetics and its employees continues to be a key contributor to the overall culture and success of the company.

With a goal of igniting employees’ passion and a belief that personal growth comes from vulnerability, I am able to coach and mentor others to perform at their best by leading by example.

In my time with Fibernetics I have been exposed to a great variety of projects and initiatives. I have been part of a growth phase, I‘ve been part of M&A projects as we acquired three companies in one year, I have been part of new culture initiatives as we redefined our purpose and core values, and I have also been part of restructuring as we scaled down. I have been involved in many other projects and initiatives throughout my tenure with the organization and can share those during a deeper conversation.

To accompany my CHRL designation from the HRPA, I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Waterloo and a Certificate of Human Resources from Conestoga College, where I was a nominee of the Alumni of Distinction Award. I was also nominated for HRPA’s Outstanding CHRP Award early on in my career.
